Introduction of Coconut Rice

  1. It’s a classic across many cuisines. Coconut flavours are the prevalent ingredient in almost every Thai, Southeast Asian, or tropical entree. You rarely come across an entree that doesn’t call for a can of coconut milk or cream. And almost every Thai dish (for example) is served with a bowl of long-grained Jasmine rice. But sometimes plain Jasmine rice is just not enough. Once you try easy coconut rice, you will see how quickly it will turn into the option of choice.

Ingredients that you will be needing for coconut rice

  1. 1kg of basmati rice or any rice of your choice
  2. 2 big size of mature coconut
  3. 2 serchets of coconut powder
  4. 1 pack of chicken breast
  5. enough of rodo pepper to your choice
  6. 4 big size of onions
  7. 4 psc of bongar fish
  8. 1 cup of blended crayfish
  9. 1 cup spoon of vegetable oil
  10. half of president butter or any butter of your choice
  11. seasoning cube to taste
  12. Salt to taste
  13. meat stock to parboil the rice 2Lt

Preparation for the ingredients

  • blend your coconut and seave it and set the milk aside, also set some of the chaff aside
  • put a clean pot on fire
  • Add 1Lt of meat stock and 1Lt of coconut milk, taste it, if it’s need seasoning cube you can add to it, if it’s need salt you can add to it to taste
  • Add 2 serchets of coconut powder
  • Add the blended crayfish
  • wash your basmati rice
  • once the stock is boiled you can add the rice and boil it let it be done but not too done, get a tray and pour the rice spread it and put it underneath a fan so that it can get cold, you have to be turning it’s so that it doesn’t get sticky.
  • blend your rodo pepper and onions not too smooth and set aside
  • Debone the fish and wash it then set aside
  • Debone the chicken breast and cut into cubes and stir fry it and set aside
  • get a clean fraying pan on fire Add some of the coconut chaff and fry it until it’s becomes crispy and set aside,
  • Dice onions and set aside
  • Then you are ready to start cooking

How to Prepare Coconut Rice

  1. Get a clean pot on fire
  2. Add 1 cup spoon of vegetable oil
  3. Add diced onions and allow it to fry a bit
  4. Add the blended pepper and onions and allow it to fry very well
  5. pour your dry Bonga fish
  6. Add the chicken breast
  7. Add seasoning cube to taste
  8. Add salt to taste
  9. once it’s well fried, then you can add the boiled rice and stir it very
  10. Add the butter and cover the pot to steam the rice on low heat
  11. once it’s steam, then it’s ready to be served. You can garnish it with the chaff of coconut and you are good to go. Your coconut rice is ready to be eaten and be nourished
